I have a blog that includes Games for Family Night, and Lessons from Manual B, and Manual A…some of the later lessons are already posted by category and I am making new ones for the first lessons of the year. Each site has a PDF file site. Most of the lessons deal with the material straight from the manual. If you type in “The language of Flowers” into wikipedia it comes up with a page that suggests a lot of flower meanings. A white rose represents virtue among other things. Or if they were going for flowers that match the theme colors you could use a poppy or marigold or any other gold flower.

We have a sister called to be the Prayer Coordinator – she lines up the prayers for us and then lets the sister conducting know.

ok here are some ideas:
Have dog wash-wash the neighborhood dogs
go ice skating or rollerskating/blading
visit your state capitol
swing at the park
have a water balloon fight
paint a barn or a house
take a midnight hike with flashlights
go bug collecting up the canyon
go on a scavenger hunt
have a house cleaning party
play cowboys and indians
marshmellow wars
go kite flying
go horseback riding and play cops and robbersplay croquet after dark using flashlights
get ice blocks and slide down high grassy hills
go frog catching and have frog jumping contestvisit a fish hatchery
play bird watching at the aviary

go to a planetarium
go antique hunting
