    Thanks, ladies!

I was searching for this song, just now, that we sang in Primary when I was a chorister in my teens. I wanted to send it via facebook to one of my daughters.

    I still sing it to my adult children on their birthdays, along with several others. It's a mother's privilege.  : }

FYI: I'll be 70 years young in October.

He didn't list the miracles but he did show them by making the film. Walking 300 miles would be a miracle for me because I have cerebral palsy. I can't see that happening. I know what that means, to have a miracle people can't see. I baptized into the church on September 27, 2009. That was the Sunday of laying of hands (baptism by fire of the Holy Ghost). My son was not allowed to attend my baptism or that Sunday by his probation officer. She told me I should wait to baptize. I cried so hard. I couldn't understand why she thought he shouldn't be there. There was no way I was going to wait, either. I believed the church was true. I believe in Jesus Christ and it was time for that expression. I baptized without my son present. That Sunday the Michigan Daily Four was my son's birthday:9911. My son Joseph was born on 9/11. More so, I was pregnant with him at fifteen which is rape in the state of Michigan. It was never prosecuted even though I was a public speaker for teen pregnancy prevention and many accountable adults heard my story, including teachers and law enforcement. Our lives have been quite a struggle. Both of us have struggled since birth and we are a kind of divine poetry, I believe. I believe we were with God before this life and will meet him after. My son never joined the church. He doesn't know he missed my baptism. I didn't have the heart to tell him how she said he couldn't go, he is so sensitive. When I tell people my baptism story they only ask me if I won the lottery. Of course i didnt play. My son sees nothing at all in the story. To me, it's poetic and it's our lost justice and something profoundly sad for our communities and the state of where we are as a people. As for myself, I got a great big that's my girl from Heavenly Father. I'm proud of pro life me for giving birth to my boy and baptizing when told not. I'm proud of my son and I think his tender heart is going to be touched by God at some point. This life or the next.

Hey I just ran across this. I am a activity day leader. I think it has something to do with the fact that the Boy Scouts are not owned or ran by the church.

I too have been looking for this fun story/music of the three church mice from my childhood.  My sister remembers it, but we cannot find any information about them.  Could you please put me in touch with whomever has this information  and pictures about Casper, Jasper and Pennywhistle?  My mother played the piano for Primary when I was little, but she died 36 years ago and of course, I can't ask her.  Please help.  I will pay for the cost of anything you can send.  I want to introduce them to my grandchildren.  Thank you so much! I am excited to finally find someone that knows what I am talking about, and not thinking I'm crazy about three church mice!!!  Anxious to hear from you.

This looks like a teaching English program.  Is it also a reading program as well?

We haven't set one up in our ward yet but it has been discussed. Here is a link to the program http://www.dailydoselearning.com/lds.html

The most basic one is $18 and you can find it here: http://store.lds.org/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product3_715839595_10557_3074457345616706365_-1__214505

    Hope it helps.

    I found these two:

Today I will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost

What a great gift, I am luckier than most

It’s not a gift wrapped in package and bow

It's a feeling inside that helps me to know

When I need an answer all I need is do is pray

And the Holy Ghost will help me and show me the way

This blanket makes me feel safe and warm inside

It resembles the holy ghost who inside me resides

This blanket reminds me when it wraps around me tight

To keep the commandments and always choose right

In our area the cubs meet twice a month plus a pack meeting with the webelos and another ward.  I think if you have a need to meet more often you should be able to talke with your ward leaders about doing so.  I also think that if the scout leaders need to meet only twice a month, but can accomplish what they need to, that that is also an option.

I am looking for a letter that defines what is appropriate for fundraising for Scouts.  I am specifically interested in Popcorn sales.  Has this tradition been "banned" from the list of appropriate fundraising?  If the scouts do not go door to door is it appropriate to sell outside a supermarket, or parent sales, or corporate sales?  There has been some confusion about this in our area.

Hi- I was wondering, what are the rules on bringing a non-member to girls' camp with you? Are they allowed to stay in your same year, even though they have never been to girls' camp before?
