Just an idea you can go to http://www.sisterzinzion.com and send a note to the web master or maybe they will soon put a link up for it! I too loved it and went to the site several times to hear it! Good luck!

Today I saw the awesome documentary “Sisterz In Zion”. What courage those young women have! They are absolutely inspiring.
I loved the way “As Sisters In Zion” has been arranged as played in the documentary, but cannot find a copy or sheet music for it.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I’m coming up with nothing when I search on the internet.
Thank you in advance! -
This is not a poem but a song on the EFY CD – A More Excellent Way-
It is called What Heaven Sees in You. It is about a little girl growing to a woman and the promises she makes- ending with temple ordinance. It is a beautiful song. -
Hey, I am new here and I just saw that you are from Brazil. My son is on a mission in Sao Paulo South. He is in Santos now. Are you far from there? Where do you live? I hopw you don’t mind me asking but whenever I here the word ‘Brazil’ it makes my heart swell. Thank you, Patty

I would highly recommend, the local food shelf–city offices–One project that I had youth really love, was packaging food for the food shelters.

I’ve had both sides of this – I’ve been the choristor twice (once integrated, once not integrated), and now I’m the second counselor in the primary presidency. I also feel there needs to be some specific time for the choristor to work on the song they’re supposed to be teaching that month – it’s HARD to get something across in two-minute segments; but that there should also be a LOT of singing throughout the rest of sharing time.
In a training I went to, the leader said that the choristor is like the Gospel Doctrine teacher, and the songs are the lessons. And really, the songs are what the children will remember most.
Hopefully, with integrating, the presidency and music people will work together with lots of communication on both ends. Otherwise it just gets frustrating. :D

I love that idea – and having the clipart available makes it so much easier!
An additional suggestion – when I did a plan of salvation lesson several years ago, I made a little paper doll in two layers – one colored and one clear (like laminating plastic), so that I could then visably remove the “soul” from the “body.”

January 23, 2006 at 8:29 pm in reply to: Need Video Emma’s Garden Party Pictures of Gen. RS Pres.? #244763
the script said sing the LDS word version of “Sisters” meaning their must be other words for the song. I just wanted to use pictures of each Generall RS Pres. to show what each on really looked like and also see the styles they wore, clothes, hair, etc. The costumes used for Emma’s Garden Party were for each year portrayed, such as 1940 Pres. wore 40’s costumes. right?

This announcement actually made it into the bulletin at my parents’ ward – as people read through the announcements, the whole ward was cracking up!
“The young adults will be farting the Snake River this Saturday – don’t forget to sign up!”

I am so glad I stumbled onto this site. Thank You for taking the time to share it with us. You will be blessed.
I am having a brain freeze on this Months sharing time. I must involve my class and can think of nothing to do. Please help me if anyone has any ideas. Thank You very much. and Happy New Year, 2006
P.S. I have the sharing time on the 15thYou definitely need to stick w/ the monthly/weekly themes established in the Sharing Time Outline. The Friend magazine has more than one idea printed in very fine print on the back of the initial monthly theme. For the fifteenth you should be teaching the third weekly gospel principle in the outline. Stick with those, use the examples of the scriptures to tell stories and examples of the Lord’s promises directly from the scriptures. Use your GAK (gospel art kit) pictures. Those are definitely approved resources for primary! Hope this was helpful. All these references are available on the LDS.org website.
