Thank you so much for posting this. I’d wanted to use it for a couple years for neighbor gifts but couldn’t find where I’d put it and haven’t found it online. Now I can’t wait until Christmas…and January isn’t even over yet.

The sister missionaries did this while they were visiting us before my youngest son’s baptism. If the links above didn’t give you what you need, email me and I’ll share what the sisters did. [email protected]

In 1956 – 1961 The Childrens Friend had a story about pioneers crossing the plains and hiding their special blue china in the flour barrel tied to their wagon. I did not start saving the Children’s Friend until 1971. The story was continued for several months. I couldnot wait to receive each issue and would read it from cover to cover. Does anyone know where I can get copies of this story? I think it was titled The Secret of the Flour Barrel.

For a knowledge project, we trained for and ran a 5k as a YW group. We used a training schedule called ‘Couch to 5k’ (can be found by doing a internet search) so all of the girls were able to participate–athletic or not. Along with that, during some of our activities, we collected healthy recipes and even tried a few out at mutual! It was so fun running with members of our YW and even some of the mom’s and RS sisters joined in with us!

You are such a blessing. I moved into a ward that has a terrible problem with reverence and all of a sudden a song that I sang 40 years ago in primary popped into my head. For the last 5 weeks I have been trying to track down the music director from back then and just last night found out that she had passed away two years ago. I thought that it would be lost forever, then I stumbled on to this post and tears came to my eyes – you are the answer to my prayers. This may sound strange but in all my years of being in primary this little song and music has been in the back of my mind. Is there any way I can get a copy of it. If I need to pay for it I would gladly do that. I hope that this message gets to you and you can help. Thank you so much in advance – and I’m sure that it will help and bless our ward primary too.
Sincerely, Sis. Belitz
