D&C 3, 10 116 pages Lost
I took a file folder and wrote in white crayon on the inside front cover. They had to dip a q-tip in colored water and rub over to reveal the Top Secret case they were to solve.
Each of them received a Detective Badge…and put them on
Then went off to a quiet place in the building
Where they worked to solve the mystery
“Best part”, once again, they were looking in the scriptures to find answers. A great principal they will need to use throughout their lives
Some of the Questions were:
Halloween Scripture Mastery
Joseph Smith Review Game
Dispensation of the Fullness of Times
D&C 8 How to protect against Satan

D&C 10 Top Secret
          We were detectives today.
I passed out detective badges that I found on a google search. They had to decorate them and put them on.
Yes, some of them put them on in interesting places!!
I gave each group a file folder labeled “Top Secret”
On the inside of the folder was a white paper, they had to dip a q-tip in colored water and rub it over the paper to see what the case was about…
The race was on…the first detective pair to solve the case ran back to the room where we then talked about the questions and the answers they came up with
Great Apostasy

I gave them each this handout (from fellow seminary teacher Becky Edwards) and told them take two different colored pens, to go to a quite spot and discuss how to be a “learner”. Then we met back together to share what they learned.
