A Night in Bethlehem - with Pictures

Treat the members of your ward to a trip back in time! Visit "Bethlehem" on the evening Jesus Christ was born. A Night in Bethlehem is a fun activity idea that includes invitation wording, a skit, and food like the Savior may have eaten. It's a big logistical undertaking, but the payoff is great!

The year I did Night in Bethlehem activity, FOUR other units in the Stake did the same activity! I got pictures from many of them and ideas from others and have shared them below.

A Night in Zarahemla

This is a take-off on the Night in Bethlehem with a Nephite twist. Serve food that Nephites may have eaten like pineapple, bananas, tortillas, and beans. The decorations would be

Mayan in nature, and instead of sparse vegetation the decor could reflect the lush greenery of the rainforest by using ward members' silk plants (or live plants for the very brave).
