Natalie shared this sometime back, but I am just getting around to posting it — while on a cruise ship in the North Atlantic. She says, “Print off the 2 or 4 pages (depending on the number of students in your class) and tape or glue together to make a tracking chart poster for Old Testament Scripture Mastery.” Thanks, Natalie!

Tani M shared this file with me well over a year ago, and I’m just now getting around to posting it. Shame on me! This is a Powerpoint file with her Bible Bucks for auctions during Old Testament years. They are super cute and go from denominations of 5 up to 10000. Each has a small image from the Old Testament on the face of the bill. There are 8…

Jacob (Israel) CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOADWhen I tried to put all the files for the “Follow The Prophet” clip art set onto Etsy, the files were too big. I had to cut something out, and Jacob ended up being it. I don’t want anyone to miss ou…

My uncle shared this with me — he didn’t write it, but he tweaked it to suit him. He says the students in his Primary class loved it! (See the original story at Biblewise) The Story of Job Narrator: In the land of Uz, not Oz, there lived a man named Job, not Steve Jobs. He was a very good person. He loved God and stayed away from doing anything…

This document contains a very valuable list of Old Testament prophets and the ways they were in similitude of Jesus Christ. It was shared with me by my friend, Jen. Thanks! This was given to me in a PowerPoint format, and I have changed the formatting to something I think is better. I am supplying it as a PDF and RTF file with the points listed alphabetically and my version…

I was given a copy of the Old Testament Walk Through handout several months back by a friend for use in my Seminary class. I have no idea how to do this, but I think that it’s a method of learning the history of the Bible with hand motions and little rhymes. Old Testament Walk Through was prepared for the CES Teaching Fair on the Old Testament, 13-15 August 1991,…

Okay — the lesson for Leviticus 1 seemed pretty boring. Even really boring. And I just didn’t want to cover all that blood and such in class because I have a tendency to faint, so instead, I made this handout based on the chart in the Institute Manual pps 162-3 and the 5 points in the Seminary lesson manual. To use this, each student will need one handout (Tabernacle Offering.pdf)…

A schoolteacher friend made us a game based on the television show, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire using Book of Mormon personalities. I altered it to use people from the Old Testament from Genesis to 1 Samuel as a review game for the kids in my class. This game takes about 10-15 minutes total to play, so I used it as part of a 3-way centers rotation between a…

Pam M. shared this game with me. “Here are the attachments for the game. “I hope you can understand it. My students enjoyed the quick game and we were able to have some good discussions about the Law of Moses as we played. “I will be posting my New Testament ideas this fall as I have been asked to teach seminary in our new ward! “Pam Mueller “http://seminarymoments.blogspot.com “PS: I…

Debbie Olson, compiler of this family feud data, gave me a copy of this when she subbed in my Seminary class this week. The kids loved it! Debbie compiled answers from over 400 Seminary students for 40 questions. There are two (one that uses keywords for scripture mastery and another about then-current leaders) that are probably not usable, but there are enough questions here for two or three full days…
