This may be the best lesson tips comment I’ve ever seen. You rule, PollyRobin.

No, there isn’t a lesson helps page for the Gospel Principals manual (or any other of the adult lesson manuals for that matter). Since the lessons don’t get reused and the topics are so broad, helps for those pages won’t be added here.
I have never been able to cover all the content in any of the new manuals in any RS lesson, so I think that you’ll find you have plenty of material. The problem with the manuals, imo, is they don’t give you enough ideas on how to help the lesson be more than ‘read-a-quote-then-discuss’. That gets a little old after a while.
Okay — it gets a LOT old.
The best place to look on this site for RS lesson helps is the object lessons:
http://www.mormonshare.com/search-lds-object-lesson.php
or Second and Third Sunday Teacher packet:
http://www.mormonshare.com/relief-society/2and3SundayPacketText.phpThe other resource you should look at is Teaching, No Greater Call. One of the Appendices has several great ideas on how to spice up lessons.
Gospel Principals should be much, much easier to teach from than the Teachings of the Presidents of the Church series. I’m delighted to see us getting to discuss doctrine in RS.

Personal Progress changes have not yet been posted at LDS.org, but I bet it’s included in the new Personal Progress manuals when they are posted (supposedly) at the beginning of December.

The location of the 2000 Women’s Conference talks is
http://ce.byu.edu/cw/womensconference/archive/transcripts.cfmThey don’t have the virtual sharing stations back as far as 2000 online, so unless the information you’re seeking is in a talk, I doubt it’s online.
I have scads of Getting to Know You games in the LDS activities by keyword section here:
http://www.mormonshare.com/taxonomy/term/6956/lds_activitythat may help.
Keep us posted on what you find, A, and if you make a list of questions, please share it!

Glad it helped — I use Firefox myself. IE and I seem to be diametrically opposed somehow :)

Proved! I got some more smack on this during Ward Council Sunday :

It’s hearsay, I suppose, since I didn’t hear it personally, but I’m certain this is legit.

Kristen, you can always use Firefox, Chrome, or IE7. IE6 is the only version that seems to have problems.
Since I can’t install IE6 (because of a Service Pack problem that I won’t torque), it would be VERY helpful if someone would check the links in the original post and let me know what they see. Only then can I actually *fix* the problem.

Putting text on the borders will depend on the program you use. If you’re using a word processing program, like Word or Office or Word Perfect, you’ll set the image to have “no wrap” or “wrap through” and then type your text it over top of it. Use the help search in the program itself to figure out where the menu might be to set that on the image. You may also be able to right click on the image and find it….
If you’re using a bitmap editor, like Photoshop or GIMP or PaintShop, you’ll open the image and edit on a new layer. Using Windows paint, you’ll open the image and edit the pixels individually <– that's the most horrible way, and I don't recommend it.
That's probably not much help, since I don't know what software you're using.
Thank you for posting in the Forum, btw. I was about to sprain something if people kept commenting in random places! ;)

If you install IE8, your problems should be fixed, Becki.
