Having the secretary lead sharing time: since secretaries are not part of the ‘presidency’ per se, I would say a Primary secretary does not need to lead sharing time.

This is beautiful and brought a tear to my eye, Single Sister. Thanks for sharing your story.

Looks like the page has changed locations. Here’s the new link:

For one of her YW projects, my sister did a project for me. She knew how much I loved the Seminary manuals and quotes, and so she copied out all of the quotes from the manual and printed out a long list of quotes by topic. It was awesome.

More egg-related ideas are here:
http://visitingteachingsurprisedocuments.blogspot.com/2010/03/april-2010-empty-nesters-family-home.htmlIt’s not for a VT lesson, but it could help with planning food ideas.
I hope someone has this skit and can post it!

Post the link to your video in a few months, Jennifer, and I’ll embed it here to inspire someone else!

You should post this on the YouTube website, Debbie, so you can contact the creator of this video. They may be able to help you get the words to the song.

The first thing that comes to my mind is asking the girls to involve their mothers. The girls are probably so used to asking leaders to sign off that they are forgetting their moms can help.

I love it, too! If you click on the image above, you’ll get to the YouTube website, where you can get the video in a larger format. I’m not sure how to download it, but there’s probably a way ….

There are some great get-to-know you questions at the bottom of the Wok and Talk activity here:
http://www.mormonshare.com/lds-activity/wok-and-talk
and I’ve also got a list of get to know you games here:
http://www.mormonshare.com/taxonomy/term/6956/get-to-know-you-games

Hm. This is an old mystery…..
There is a mail order business called Ovation Station in Bakersfield at this location:
Ovation Station
10013 Roehampton Ave
Bakersfield, CA 93312
Tel: (661) 587-9793that may be able to help you. Please keep in mind that information from ywconnection.com is often very old. I did see a notation from Alice on the page here:
http://www.ywconnection.com/Camp/pageCabletostand.htmlthat says the music is no longer available. I hate to discourage anyone, but I think it’s going to be very difficult to find this music anywhere online….
I did a search for songs relating to the similar theme “courage to stand” and got this song:
http://www.asabbathblog.com/2009/04/courage-to-stand-camporee-theme-song.htmlIt’s not LDS, but I think it’s pretty great.
