Students will see the outline of the body and be told their testimony has died. It is then up to them to search and discover the “clues” as to what caused the death of their testimony. Clues such as gossiping, lying, drinking, etc are placed around the room. Example: We wrote things about a fictitious youth on a crumbled up piece of paper for the gossiping clue.

Give a few volunteers a toothbrush and towel. Have people in the class say things that help them live the gospel or keep the sabbath day. For each thing said, spread some toothpaste on the brushes till its overflowing and then have the people brush with it. Their mouths will be overflowing with paste! Ring the tuning fork, play the same note on the piano. Ask if the piano is in tune with the tuning fork. Ask why or why not? (piano hasn’t been tuned, humidity, time between tunings, etc.) Make the connection that we need to do certain things to keep ourselves in tune with the Holy Spirit, i.e. prayer, scripture study, church attendance, etc.
