As of late, I have become ga ga for vintage floral patterns. There is something just pretty and sweet about them. I decided to create the YW values with pretty florals. I plan on printing them off (enlarged copies) and posting them in the YW room for decoration. Feel free to use in your young womens and share! You can download for free here http://courtneyaitken.blogspot.com/2013/01/yw-values-vintage-style.html

This helps young women plan their personal progress experiences for the year. One of the biggest challenges girls in our ward have is that after they finish one goal, they don’t know which one to work on next. I gave this to each of our Young Women to help them plan out which value experiences they will be doing each month for the whole year. I will be sending out…

This table lists the Personal Progress Value experiences and projects that correlate with the monthly “Come Follow Me” lessons for 2013. Using this will make it easier for young women to complete personal progress experiences that relate to subjects already being discussed in Sunday School and Young Women’s lessons.

This lesson helps the young women to learn to build each other up and to look for the best in each other. This is a fun lesson/activity that could be used to teach leadership skills to the entire group of young women together on a mutual night. We also used it for our Stake Leadership training. You could also adapt it to New Beginnings. Edit 4/11/2016 – A user…

This is a very rough outline of what I plan on doing for the 2013 New Beginnings. I will be adding files and handouts regulary. I just thought it would be best to get the idea out there for anyone who might want to tweak it and use it this year.
