Each student is given a sheet of paper and a pencil. There is to be absolutely no talking (or else they start giving clues to each other about what they will write) and no looking at a neighbors paper. Explain to the students that you will give a SM reference and they are to write down any 5 words from that scripture. No using scriptures or cards or bookmarks, etc….

Place two stacks of scratch paper on the floor next to each other. Place a garbage can about 10 feet away. One player from each team comes forward and stands by a paper stack. You read the clue (or start reading the actual scripture) and the first person (of the two) to answer correctly (or chase for the scripture) gets a point for their team. (This is the BRAINS part.)…
