I just posted a message with kind of the same thing. I only have 2 girls that come out and it’s really hard to get them here as they also have no parental support. We have about 6 girls that are inactive and with each of them I have taken a night and took them out for ice cream to get to know them and their needs. I continue to invite them to activities and be their friend. I have also had one of them babysit for me. I think just being there for them is a lot. I definately can relate to the discouragement but hang in there. You are probably doing so much already. It’s really up to the parents and we are the parents helpers. If the parents don’t help there’s only so much we can do.
