I have been asked to speak at a non LDS funeral on Saturday. I think I was chosen because I am the most “religious” person the family knows. I need to prepare a 5 minute talk, but don’t want to sound like I’m preaching. I would love to see any examples of talks others have given in this setting. I need some advice on how to tell about the plan of salvation in layman’s terms without going too in depth. I was thinking about ending with the poem “footsteps in the sand”. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
