I got an email on March 21, 2006, from artist Chris Gunn offering to donate her gigantic collection of clipart to the JennySmith.net clipart database!

Chris was the original artist for the Clip It! clipart books sold by Deseret Book in the early 1990s. The books were the first to be totally dedicated to church organizations and scouting. These books are no longer available through Deseret Book, and now Chris, a grandma, has donated these documents to the clipart database so that everyone can use them!!!

Chris heard about JennySmith.net from a newsletter her neice sent out. She was impressed that the site allows everyone to submit ideas and share talents with other church leaders worldwide, and so she decided to offer her incredible clipart collection free of charge for others to use.

Chris’s images are copyright free, and they may be used for non-profit purposes. Don’t sell these images as part of any CD, gallery, or service that charges any type of fee. Don’t use these images to create things you will sell.

I am sure leaders worldwide will be grateful for these fabulous images. If these images are helpful to you, you can post a thank you to Chris here on this forum!

Most of Chris’s images are now in the database. I’ll have to go through each db entry and categorize the images. That will take some time, but at least now you can see the images based on the first word in thier titles.

I’ve finished categorizing these images, and now they should be easy to find!!!

Also, I hope none of you are intimidated b/c the images are in black and white (no antialiasing). This will actually make the images LESS fuzzy when they are resized in your wordprocessor or graphics program, so enjoy!
