I used this quote with my Seminary lesson, but it would be great for any lesson around Christmas time. The quote reads: “This Christmas, mend a quarrel. Seek out a forgotten friend. Dismiss suspicion and replace it with trust. Write a letter. Give a soft answer. Encourage youth. Manifest your loyalty in word and deed. Keep a promise. Forgo a grudge. Forgive an enemy. Apologize. Try to understand. Examine your…

I am using this worksheet in my Seminary class to teach the illustration in the Old Testament Resource Manual on page 113. Instead of using the board, I will have each student fill out this worksheet during class. There are 3 sets of bricks on the cutouts sheet. 2 on the left side, and 1 running vertically on the right. They are not in order. See the answers page for…

After visiting several Seminary classes that were doing “March Madness” activities to beat the winter doldrums, I decided to adapt the idea for our 3-week study of Isaiah. Students earn tickets by participating in class, sharing missionary/gospel study experiences, and other things. At the end of our three weeks, we will have an auction where students can bid to win items donated by parents with their tickets. I have heard…

I’ve made a series of program covers for the 2013 Primary theme, I am a Child of God. There’s no year written on these covers so they can be used at any time. Have the students in your Primary draw a self-portrait of themselves in the box on each cover. If you’d like parents to be able to have a copy of the program cover to take home for their…

These are Articles of Faith Flash cards with Key words and pictures on the Front to help children remember the subject of the Article of Faith they are learning. They should be already formatted to print front to back correctly.

I made this for our Young Women, each girl got a page to and was challenged to learn about that value during the year and complete that value. They will then present what they have learned and achieved at the young women in excellence night.

I say every year I’m not going to do this…. and I wear down. I don’t serve in Primary, and I really REALLY wish someone would step up and do this. It takes only about 20 minutes of copy/pasting, and then you restate the weekly themes in question or talk form. It really is no big deal. Someone please step up next year, ok? This is a worksheet that allows…

This handout has the quotes from the manual about sanctification and justification from the Seminary student manual by McConkie and Joseph Fielding. Goes with Moses 6:60. You could use this as the basis for a great baptism talk, btw.

This year I’ve created some banners for use with the 2012 Primary theme Choose the Right. My banners are classroom sized, which means they will print on two pages of 8.5 x 11 inch paper for easy reading throughout your class room. Simply tape the pages together where they overlap, and voila! An easy banner with the month’s theme. Following are some sample image of the posters:

These documents have the weekly themes listed by date for the 2012 Primary Theme Choose the Right. There are two pages. You can print them back to back or on separate sheets for use in your Primary binder. Great for Primary presidencies and secretaries.
