My Eternal Family Primary Presentation Program Cover

In my old ward, the Primary Presidency would let each child draw a picture to be program covers for the Primary Presentation. It was so fun to see different children’s artwork on each program!!! After sacrament meeting, people met up in the hall to give each child’s drawings to the family. With this year’s theme of “My Eternal Family”, I think it would be especially fun to invite the children…

2013 Personal Progress Yearly Plan

This helps young women plan their personal progress experiences for the year. One of the biggest challenges girls in our ward have is that after they finish one goal, they don’t know which one to work on next. I gave this to each of our Young Women to help them plan out which value experiences they will be doing each month for the whole year. I will be sending out…

The Two Comforters

One is the Holy Ghost, the same as given on the day of Pentecost, and that all Saints receive after faith, repentance,…

Significance of Gethsemane or How can we understand the suffering of the Savior

I made this handout to go with John 18.  It describes the suffering of Martin Harris after losing the 116 pages, and likens it to the “least degree” of the suffering endured by the Savior when God withdrew His spirit from the Savior on the cross.  The text is as quoted in the New Testament Institute manual, with some portions removed so that it would fit on a single page….

Testimony vs Conversion worksheet

There is a lesson on conversion in the New Testament manual for Seminary. When one of my students brought up this issue at the end of class yesterday, I decided to create this handout for use during class to help us get through the topic a little faster. Conversion vs. Testimony What is a testimony? A testimony is the statement or declaration of a witness under oath or affirmation, usually…

Are You a Builder or Wrecker? -compiled by Kim Allphin

This lesson helps the young women to learn to build each other up and to look for the best in each other. This is a fun lesson/activity that could be used to teach leadership skills to the entire group of young women together on a mutual night. We also used it for our Stake Leadership training. You could also adapt it to New Beginnings.   Edit 4/11/2016 – A user…
