The Personal Progress Helper

I’ve had several requests for some simple resources for Young Women, such as a tracking sheet for Personal Progress, so I threw this simple sheet together. Hopefully the simplicity and bright colors can aid in motivating Young Women to refocus on Pers…

Every year I like to challenge myself to read the Book of Mormon, and something about charts motivates me to stick to my goal. I especially appreciate charts with some level of creativity, so I decided to throw one together. The whole idea is to embar…

A few months ago I shared this idea on Sugardoodle to celebrate the launch of her new website. But I never shared it on my blog, so today I am sharing my Personal Progress Jars idea with all of you. These jars would be a great gift to make for new Beehives or do this as a mutual activity. I did this as a mutual activity for the beehives and we had a great time.

My Personal Progress Experience cards
Ribbon and/or Fabric (to decorate the jar)
First, you will need to print out my ‘Personal Progress Experience Cards’. Most of the cards I have included are experiences that can be completed in one day. There are 23 cards total (6 pages)!
I also included a page of blank cards that you could use for girls that have completed a majority of their experiences. Just have the girls write the experiences that they need to complete on each of the cards.
Once you have printed the cards you will need to cut them out.
Next, I rolled each card up and then tied with curly ribbon.
After each experience card was rolled and tied I placed them in the jar along with some yummy treats.
You can leave your jar like that OR you can cut pieces of fabric to place on the lid of each jar.
I also tied a piece of ribbon around the jar and placed a ‘Personal Progress Jar’ tag on the front.
to create your very own Personal Progress Jar!
Have the girls place the jar by their beds or on a dresser. If they have some free time they can pick an experience out of the jar and complete it…and they can enjoy a yummy little treat from the jar as well. :)
I hope you enjoy my Personal Progress Jar as well as the YW in your ward.
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

I’ve been in a super planning mood, and as a result I’ve come up with a handful of resources for Class Presidencies to use. The first is a presidency meeting agenda template, and the second is an activity planning worksheet. Both are designed to help …

I’ve been getting super excited in planning for the new year. I’m a huge organizer and planner by nature, so I’ve been hard at work preparing a calendar (and other goodies) for next year. It’s pretty simple, but that’s what works best for me. My crite…

I’m surprised it has taken me this long to think of making signs with the different value themes. So here they are! They can be downloaded as a PDF file, or the individual images can be found on the actual value pages of this blog. Enjoy!

My ward is full of super creative people, and my young women leaders love doing fun themes for New Beginnings and Young Women in Excellence. This year our theme is “There’s No Place Like Home” from The Wizard of Oz. I’ve always loved The Wizard of Oz,…
