This letter was submitted by Brenda H. She says, ” Here is a P[ersonal] P[rogess] report we will be sending out to our parents to just give them an update as to where their YW are at. We will probably adjust it in the next letter that we send out in a few more months which will most likely include some encouragement or ideas.” Thanks, Brenda!

Annette H. shared this form that she describes thus: “The PP Monthly Interview Form is to be used by the Young Women’s Counselor in helping the Young Woman set Personal Progress goals for the month. The Counselor keeps a binder with taps for each Young Woman with that Young Woman’s everything tracker and monthly goal sheets. My friend who is YW President in her ward gave me a copy of the talks that her Young Women are using for New Beginnings this year. This New Beginnings program has six short talks that describe espisodes in the lives of several women from Church History. Each talk is assigned a Personal Progress value (Divine Nature and Knowledge are combined) and each speaker ends the talk by saying something…

This handout was submitted by G. Carmichael, a personal progress leader in the UK. This handout is meant to accompany the Knowledge Value Experience Number 3, but would be appropriate for many lessons on music. Lacey says, “The clipart in the background of this document is from Jennysmith.net. I used this handout in class to go along with Manual 2 Lesson 6. Just print it out on cardstock or regular paper and cut. The young women can use it as a bookmark while they are looking up the scriptures included on the handout.” 5 per page, 8.5 x 11 inches, color.

This is a skit submitted by K. Adams. This skit was organized (from an inherited script) and directed by her daughter for a Personal Progress 10-hour project. There is music and a very fun skit with special effects and fun dramatic parts for the actors. What’s interesting to me about this skit is it involves the girls’ fathers — using them to encourage the girls to avoid bad habits that…

This is a personal progress tracking sheet I found by “L. Moore” at YoungWomen.Faithweb.com. I created a PDF out of the file so that everyone, regardless of word processing software, can use it.

Our leaders have found that girls often loose their Personal Progress books and with the emphasis on having parents sign off Value Experiences, sometimes records are irretrievably lost. We are going to begin keeping an Individual tracking sheet for each young woman that will travel with her throughout her years in Young Women so that we can keep track of who has completed what, plan activities that fit the needs…
