Downloaded from: http://ldsywideasandactivities.blogspot.com/2014/01/annual-youth-fundraiser.html  Every year we have a fundraiser to help send our youth to camp (Scout Camp, Cub Scout Day Camp, and Girls Camp). Please note that each ward handles their camp fundraising as directed by their local leaders (Bishop or Stake President), so this activity might not be appropriate for everyone. Here is the official policy from the current handbook of instructions.  13.6.8 Fund-Raising ActivitiesFund-raising activities are not…

{Sharing Time} I Am A Child Of God And Can Be Like Him Someday

Downloaded from: http://littleldsideas.blogspot.com/2014/01/sharing-time-i-am-child-of-god-and-can.html Sharing Time Idea from the 2014 Sharing Time OutlineIdentify the doctrine and encourage understanding (seeing pictures, singing a song, and reading a scripture): Show several pictures of baby animals to the children and ask them what each animal will grow to be (for example, a kitten will grow to be a cat). Show a picture of an infant child and ask the same question. Explain that there is…

Downloaded from: http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/PattiesPrimaryPlace/~3/EGpe7SN8i9E/primary-singing-time-january-2013.html This is a fun activity I’ve posted about before but since we just had the snowstorm of the century, this snowball activity might be fun! At least here in snowy Utah! It’s a Primary Snowball “toss”. (Don’t call it a snowball fight or you’ll be sorry!) Tell the kids it’s their once a year time when they can pelt you with snowballs! Yipee! They will love that. Here’s…

Dreaded Thirteens

I’m really not the superstitious type, but wow, twenty thirteen has proved a bad year for us.  Also age thirteen was a bad one for our son, though I suppose that’s to be expected: ah, middle school.  But wow, this has been a lame few months.  I’m just plain tired. Last week I made an attempt to catch up on the blog while we were out with the ice storm,…

2013 Ornament Exchange

Downloaded from: http://inkablinka.com/2013/12/2013-ornament-exchange-2.html I hosted our 3rd annual ornament exchange in my home this year. It was again, such a treat. Just to recap how we do it: There are 12 ladies in our exchange group. Sometime in September we send out invitations to everyone, so they can keep their calendars open on the planned-on date. That also gives everyone plenty of time to work on their ornaments before the…

How To Help New Sunbeams Pay Attention

Downloaded from: http://ocdprimarychorister.blogspot.com/2013/12/how-to-help-new-sunbeams-pay-attention.html How-to posts contain ideas for dealing with problems and/or meeting teaching objectives.  These posts may be updated as I discover or think of new ideas.  If you have something to add to the conversation, please leave it in the comments! 1.  Keep things moving. Sunbeams have very short attention spans.  Have your books ready, pages marked, lists printed out, flipcharts on the table, visual aides on the…

Families Are Forever – Primary 2014 Theme

I’m sitting near my Christmas tree, sighing with happiness, but wondering why I haven’t put up any Christmas printables on this blog this year…I guess Thanksgiving got the best of me! I was so blessed to be able to spend the holiday weekend with my family, especially my husband. He has been so overwhelmed with school and work this semester, so it was an amazing break for both of us and I soaked up every possible minute by his side. (You can check out last year’s Christmas printables by clicking here.) I do hope to get at least one or two Christmas quotes up, but we’ll have to see…time is running short!

Interestingly enough, I have gotten numerous requests for me to do a print of next year’s Primary theme, so I thought I’d take a whack at it. I love the theme of “Families are Forever” because I love the testimony I have of my family being together for eternity. It is the only thing that keeps me going on the hard days and through the trials. I know my family will be my family forever, and it brings me immense peace.

During this Christmas season, I am especially grateful for my Savior and His plan of mercy that allows our families to be sealed in the temple and to remain a unit after this life. He is so kind and so loving and I feel blessed to worship Him and celebrate His birth.

There are 3 color versions available of this print, and one set has “Primary 2014” and the other set has a blank ribbon. Feel free to use whichever works best for your Primary or your family. I hope you like them!

Happy Holidays!

What experiences have you had that have strengthened your testimony of a forever family?

I love to offer my LDS Printables free of charge, but I can only offer so much of my time for free. I try to put generic files up on my site so that most people can use them without needing modifications. Having said that, if you would like to have a print customized with a different temple, names, labels (ie. Primary President, Primary Secretary, etc.), or different colors, you can check out this listing here on my Etsy shop for details. I will only charge for the time I spend on your requests. Thank you for your understanding!

*****BONUS PRINT*****
The Primary 2014 print is now available with the Provo, UT temple in the gray chevron version in both Spanish and English. This print is a 16×20 but would print fine as an 8×10, and should print at pretty much any other standard size you’d like. Thank you for all of your support!
