I gave this lesson several years ago in a combined lesson of the graduating Laurels and Relief Society. The purpose was to demonstrate that there is a place for every woman in Relief Society, and that some of the stereotypes we hold about Relief Society aren’t true.
I asked three Young Women before class to come prepared to answer questions about how they would like their first experience in RS to be, and assigned one young woman to read the “fact or fiction” statements and have the class guess answers. Then I read the quote with the related answer.
