Thanks for your note, David, but I’m afraid you’re on the wrong forum for this kind of discussion. This website is not one for discussing or debating doctrines. You can find that type of scholarly debate elsewhere in the bloggernacle.

If you’d like to see all the help questions, you can look at http://mormonshare.com/forum/. That shouldn’t give you any problems. I’m sorry for the inconvenience!

Click on “Clip Art” at the top of the page and scroll down to either “subway art” or “Young Women”

You bet:
http://www.lds.org/general-conference/1998/04/search-me-o-god-and-know-my-heart?lang=eng“A group of religion instructors [were] taking a summer course on the life of the Savior and focusing particularly on the parables.
“When the final exam time came, … the students arrived at the classroom to find a note that the exam would be given in another building across campus. Moreover, the note said, it must be finished within the two-hour time period that was starting almost at that moment.
“The students hurried across campus. On the way they passed a little girl crying over a flat tire on her new bike. An old man hobbled painfully toward the library with a cane in one hand, spilling books from a stack he was trying to manage with the other. On a bench by the union building sat a shabbily dressed, bearded man [in obvious distress].
“Rushing into the other classroom, the students were met by the professor, who announced they had all flunked the final exam.
“The only true test of whether they understood the Savior’s life and teaching, he said, was how they treated people in need.
“Their weeks of study at the feet of a capable professor had taught them a great deal of what Christ had said and done.” 8 In their haste to finish the technicalities of the course, however, they failed to recognize the application represented by the three scenes that had been deliberately staged. They learned the letter but not the spirit. Their neglect of the little girl and the two men showed that the profound message of the course had not entered into their inward parts. (“Viewpoint: Too Hurried to Serve?” Church News, 1 Oct. 1988, 16; as quoted in “Search Me, O God, and Know My Heart”, James E. Faust, April 1998 Ensign)

I don’t know where you would find this — that image was out of use back in the very early days of the internet. LDS-YW.com is the oldest Young Women site out there. that’s where I’d start.

Here are a few links about being not of the world:

There is also a song with the refrain Not of the World I remember from when I was a youth. Let me see if I can find it.

I’m afraid that I can’t help you find the Ensign article you’re looking for without more information. Do you remember the author? A quote or phrase?
Otherwise, you can search for what you remember about the article at
http://www.lds.org/ensign/2012?lang=engIf you remember an exact phrase, put it in quotes in the search box that’s found in the white space next to the word Ensign. Like this: “broken heart”.
Good luck!

If you look in the clip art section under skits or scripts or reader’s theater, you might find a script that will work for you. The Church’s website may have some old skits, too, especially in old Friends.

The airplane crash activity used to be on this website, but it has been deleted. It is an activity that should not be performed.
See this letter from the Temple Department at Church Headquarters:
http://www.mormonshare.com/forum/wearing-all-white-for-activities-airplane-crash-activityIn short, members should not perform activities that mimic temple patterns.

Hrm. I don’t see it either! I will see if I can add in that block.

Yes it is — I don’t like to give it out because it could be used for nefarious purposes, as you know. Already some of my vector illustrations have been stolen for use on paid embroidery patterns. I don’t own the copyright on this image and don’t want to risk vector images of Church logos to get around.
The JPG files on the website are of such a quality that they will look great on any thing printed on a home computer, I suspect.
