Primary Teacher Binders/Packets

Things to include in Primary Binders or New Teacher Packets:

1 – A letter introducing the theme, thanking the teachers, etc.

2 – A reminder of Primary policies (like no food, etc.)

3 – Calendar for the next six months with all the children’s birthdays, Primary activities, class sharing time presentations, lesson schedule, etc.

4 – Current substitute list

5 – CSMP outline

6 – Manual

7 – Pictures in sheet protectors, when available, or List of pictures for that teacher’s manual

8 – List of children in class, with birthdays and phone numbers. It is often helpful to list the address and any other children or adults in the child’s family.

9 – Instructions on how to get to the Primary section at lds.org. Remember to tell them how to use the Interactive tools to help deal with behavior problems.

10 – Contact Information for the Primary presidency

(Be sure every teacher has a copy of Teaching, No Greater Call.)
