Hello,
I am Yinka Stuckey. I am a convert to the church, 7 years. In that time I have been an assistant librarian, primary teacher, relief society teacher, and nursery worker. Recently I’ve been called as the Enrichment Counselor. I am a bit overwhelmed because I am not crafty, organized or any of that good stuff. I am a working mom of one child, and my profession is school teacher. My teaching callings have been more like my area but being Enrichment Counselor is intimidating. I’m not sure where to begin. I do have an Enrichment Leader and Committee and they seem to be doing fine. I’m not sure of what I’m suppose to do. Right now I’m just reading the instruction manuals and information. I’ll meet with the RS president later this week. Just thought some of you veterans might have some advise or words of wisdom. :)Thanks

You’re doing exactly the right thing — read the manuals and don’t panic, or at least panic as little as possible!
If you have questions about your calling, feel free to ask the Stake Enrichment leader for help — they typically love to train and give advice. Your old counselor might be a great resource as well, and certainly your other presidency members will be of great help to you as you plan your activities.
And pray, as always, knowing you have received the right to receive inspiration relating to this calling. You can do it!
