Memorization Relay

Divide class into two teams. Divide chalkboard in half, or use two boards if available. Tell the class the SM reference. Upon the command of GO!, students go to the board and write one word per student until the entire reference is complete (to include the actual reference as well as punctuation). Game ends when the one team has it written out completely without error.

Using the winning entry, the class recites the reference together. Give a student an eraser, and have him erase 3 words. Class again recites the reference, to include the missing words. Another student erases 3 words, followed by class recital, and so forth until the board is clear and all pass off the scripture.
