I got inspired by the Relief Society Declaration Subway Art shared by a visitor and decided to try my hand at creating subway art, too.
Mercy's sake -- it's TIME CONSUMING!
It took me about 3 hours to make this version of the Young Women's theme in the subway art style. The image has nearly all the words of the theme on it.
Since it took so long to make to make this image, I'm including several versions of it and I am creating some cards and clipart out of the image as well. I've made negative, color, and grayscale versions. If you click on the "subway art" or "young women clipart" you'll find poster versions in both letter and tabloid sizes, cards, and more.
Please remember that this image may not be used on any item you will sell. I will take legal action against those who violate my terms. Do not tamper with the MormonShare link on the image. You're getting it free, and I deserve credit for my work.
I hope you enjoy this image -- my very first subway art!!!

That is really cool looking ... but your comments:
"Please remember that this image may not be used on any item you will sell. I will take legal action against those who violate my terms. Do not tamper with the MormonShare link on the image. You're getting it free, and I deserve credit for my work."
...my goodness! Of course you should receive proper credit if your image is used by others. On the other hand, how very uncharitable / harsh that sounds, especially on an LDS website.
If you are so concerned about getting "credit for [your] work" and will "take legal action against those who violate your terms" perhaps you shouldn't have put it up on a public website to be shared for free.

That notation is there because my images have been stolen before and used on items sold at Cafe Press. I want to be clear -- harsh-sounding to you or not -- that is against my terms.

I totally agree that the harshness of your comments is offensive to those of us (I'm sure the majority) who are honest and follow the Church's admonition to honor copyrights. I have written six plays that took far more than 3 hours to create that have circulated all through the church, sometimes with and often without credit to me. I'm flattered that people appreciate my creativity.
That said, I'll thank you for the great idea and create my own version to use without attribution as my contribution to the cause of the young women of the Church.

This is so hip and at the same time inspiring! I will turn it into a Chiristmas gift for our YW. I am thinking something they can post on their mirrors. Maybe a hang tag of some sort? Not sure right now but I am very thankful for your talents and your willingness to share.

My computer won't allow me to contact you... not sure why, so I am using this and hoping it will work! I wanted to print out the YW theme subway art for our yw (Skyline Ward, Tooele, UT)! However, I would like to make it bigger. Is there a way you could email me the image in a higher resolution? It is blurry even at the 8x11 size. Please let me know asap as I wanted to give this to them for Christmas! Thanks sooo omuch!!!! Linda ([email protected])

I've provided this file in a larger size here:

Please note, if you are resizing or stretching the image to fit on a sheet of paper, even the larger version may appear blurry.

This is wonderful, thank you! I'm going to use this negative for our YW to color and decorate as they'd like; it's just what I've been looking for.

I LOVE this!! I was wondering about having vinyl cut and having each of my young women make a wall hanging with it. However, the person we've asked to cut it feels this is in violation of your agreement because she would be charging us to cut the vinyl out. I would like to know if we can have your permission to have vinyl cut (which we will be paying for) but using for personal use, none of the finished products will be sold.

I'll give you a one time release to use the image this way as long as the vinyl cutter does not make any more products she will sell for profit using the image.

I contacted you a couple weeks ago about using the image as a vinyl cutout. When I got on to forward your permission it was gone. Is there any way you could email me a copyright permission for us to have the vinyl cut? I love all of the ideas and helps you offer, you are amazing!!
