This handout has the 6 fundamentals of Gospel Teaching as described by Elder Dallin H. Oaks in his talk “Gospel Teaching,” Ensign, Nov. 1999, page 78. The 6 fundamentals are: 1. Love your students. 2. Concentrate on students’ needs. 3. Use prescribed (church published) materials. 4. Prepare diligently; seek effective teaching methods. 5. Seek and use the Spirit. 6. Analyze your efforts and seek to improve.
