Nauvoo Sunstone Tie Bar – Antique Gold
The Nauvoo Temple was designed by Mormon architect William Weeks under the direction of Joseph Smith, Junior. Many have assumed these stones represent the three degrees of glory. This explains why the Starstones are at the top of the temple, as they represent a crown of twelve stars. Sunstones were found in the middle clothing the temple and church with the sun, and the Moonstones are located at the bottom, representing the moon under her feet.
