For the RS Birthday this year we decided to have a program all about the RS Declaration. We asked 11 women to each speak about one of the phrases from the declaration for two minutes. The presidency took the last 3 phrases. Each person was asked to share scriptures, quotes, stories, songs, pictures, or whatever they felt would best illustrate that phrase. We felt it was a good way to give sisters who don’t usually participate a chance to do something that isn’t too overwhelming.
I made this subway art using all the key phrases from the Relief Society Declaration. We bought the very inexpensive clip frames from IKEA and had the art printed on nice coated cardstock. We also had one done large and framed it for our RS room. It was a nice birthday gift to go along with our program!
