Hello, I was doing a search on the internet & came across this forum. I have a question that I was hoping someone could help me with. Several years ago when I was in YW we had an activity about Lehi’s dream. My leaders blind folded us and then spun us in circles & had one person whispering directions leading us to a rope that led back to the church building where the “tree of life” was. At the same time there was other people trying to distract us. At the end when everyone was back we read Lehi’s dream from the B of M.
My question is, has anyone heard of this activity and can anyone point out any finer details that I might be missing so I can successfully pull off this activity for the YW I am now serving?
Thanks,

I knew I had collected this activity information somewhere!
This is from a young woman whose mutual had a 6 month’s worth of activities based on stories from the Book of Mormon. It sounds like a lot of fun and a great way to get youth excited about reading.

Wow someone really put a lot of thought into this activity. Thank you so much for finding it. I will need to modify it a little as our budget likely will not be able to support all of the cool items used originally but at least I now know where to go with it. Also I really like the idea of doing 6 months of combined activities based on the B of M. I will mention that in our next presidency meeting.
Thanks again,

This coming summer we are putting on Lehi’s Dream “Hold to the Rod” and I am attempting to get all the info I can. Could I impose and ask if you could send me your info on the activity?
Thanks DJ Bingham -
For girls camp this year we are doing the Lehi's dream faith walk, and I am not able to get into the link you have above. Is there any way you could send that link again. I have been having a hard time finding ideas about how to do this.
Thanks
