I combined the New Testament Teacher’s Manual p. 29-30 with the Student Manual p. 15 to come up with this chart. Cut out the wordstrips at the bottom and paste them in the appropriate spaces in the table. The students could do this after watching the Bible Video called “The Higher Law.” Amy Olander Yakima, WA

You can download the files below, or visit John’s website at http://www.johnbushman.com/teaching-helps.html to thank him or download the files. But it’s a picture of missionaries and an RSS Feed icon with the text “feed my sheep”. Many of the youth were not as familiar with the RSS feed icon as they were with facebook and twitter vocab.

From Amy O: “I combined two ideas from the OT teacher’s guide for this handout. I used the maze from page 128 and the idea on page 129 about drawing a map to the temple then flipping a coin at the turns. “This goes along with the story President Hinckley told in the student manual on page 101 about “switch points.” I want to teach the idea of purposeful living…

Pam M. shared this game with me. “Here are the attachments for the game. “I hope you can understand it. My students enjoyed the quick game and we were able to have some good discussions about the Law of Moses as we played. “I will be posting my New Testament ideas this fall as I have been asked to teach seminary in our new ward! “Pam Mueller “http://seminarymoments.blogspot.com “PS: I…

The General Conference Notebook helps children internalize what they hear at Conference by writing and/or drawing pictures from talks. My Primary-aged kids really enjoyed this when we did it at home.
