MY NAME IS MONICA, I AM THE YW PRESIDENT IN OUR EXTREMELY LARGE WARD. WE ARE
REALLY STRUGGLING TRYING TO COME UP WITH A NEW AND FUN ACTIVITY THAT WE CAN
HAVE NEXT WEEK WITH BOTH THE YW AND THE YM. OUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE IS THAT WE
HAVE AROUND 70 YOUTH THAT WILL BE ATTENDING. AS YOU CAN IMAGINE IT IS
SOMETIMES DIFFICULT TO ENTERTAIN THAT MANY KIDS AT ONCE. IF POSSIBLE WE WOULD
LIKE TO HAVE A VALETINE THEME-BUT THIS IS NOT NECESSARY. ANY THOUGHTS?

Thanks for your email, Monica. The best activities I have for large groups are these

Faith Factor – based on Fear Factor
Mormon Clue – a murder-mystery game, also available in Italian
Gospel Feud – based on Family Feud
    Joseph Smith Jeopardy

You could also go with a “centers” format, where you have shorter 10-20 minute activities and the youth rotate between each activity in small groups.

Hope this helps, and maybe others with ideas will post here as well!

Hello! I am trying to connect to Clue – the murder mystery dinner link. However, it says I am not authorized to view the content. I don’t see a link to sign in or register. Can you send me the details for the game??

    Thanks,
    Sarah
