Recently I spoke to a group of adults at the Mormon Church in Central Point Oregon set up for me by Pamela Olsen, a member there. I spoke regarding the issue of helping, caring for, and finding the best solution for elderly loved ones. I am the author of “Care Enough to Know-Keep Your Parents Safe” a how to book for anyone considering any type of senior living. In the book I teach how to very carefully select assisted living and other types of senior living. Having served in the senior living field for over 25 years, I have seen the story from the inside and have written the book to prepare families for what may come and to prevent them from experiencing the “deer in the headlights” reaction.
My talk was very well received and if you would like to connect with Pamela Olsen regarding the content her e-mail is [email protected]. You can also learn more about me on the website: http://www.theparentcare.net.
I am contacting you because I will be in Northern Virginia during June of this year and am scheduling talks for the time that I will be there. There is no charge for the talk, but I do bring the books along in case anyone wants to purchase one. We will be arriving on June 5th, have talks scheduled for the 6th, 7th and 8th and will be in the area until June 22nd. (this could change and we may be there longer.)
I would like to make this happen if you have an opening for a speaker. It would be of great service to adult children, boomers and family members in your area.
Thanks and God Bless you
