Invite A Military Member

Downloaded from: http://primarynotes29.blogspot.com/2013/06/invite-military-member.html image sourceLast night my husband had an idea so simple I thought, “duh! Why didn’t I think about that?” We live near a Military Base, so it would be awesome to invite a Military Member to dress in uniform and speak to the kids for Independance Day. It would be equally as awesome to have them sing.

Put signs around the room with the places’ names on them: Child of God Canyon Rainbow Mountain Savior Meadow Zion ——————–***The following is a sample narrative of how it might go: Have the children put their chairs away and sit on the floor…

Families Are Our Greatest Treasure – Teaching “families Can Be Together Forever” – 7/7

Downloaded from: http://aprimarysingingtime.blogspot.com/2013/06/families-are-our-greatest-treasure.html July’s song is near and dear to my heart.  We’ve sung it as a family during multiple occasions throughout my life, including when my grandfather died.  It was one of his favorite songs. Sometimes we don’t truly appreciate our family.  We argue, we annoy each other, and generally tend to take one another for granted.  Teaching them about the importance of family is something I feel is…
