This file is from the New Testament Institute manual and shows graphically what John the Revelator saw and recorded in the Book of Revelations. The seven seals can be understood to be the seven 1,000 year periods of the Earth’s history. Great for Seminary and Sunday School students. http://institute.lds.org/manuals/new-testament-institute-student-manual/…

The original Magic Squares document by Janice Lee Griffith Tate is available at the old http://si.lds.org/ in the CES Conferences Section under Old Testament. Here’s a link: http://www.ldsces.org/old-testament/conference/ Problem is, the motions that go with the magic square are not described in the handout. I have a copy of one that a friend gave me, and I have created this handout that includes text to describe the actions. You should…

For this lesson, I wanted a set of cards for the girls to use in selecting good, clean, fun dates with young men. I copied each card onto colored card stock (one copy for each girl) and then used a paper cutter to separate the cards. I put each stack of cards topped with the cover card into a zipped snack-size baggie. These cards along with a few quotes and…

I’ve created these over the years for lessons I’ve taught drawing from the quotes, scriptures and stories shared in the manuals. A few are from mutual activities (the one about kids was for an evening we put on for the Jr. Primary Children to teach the YW about caring for kids). Enjoy!

I used this attachment when I taught Ruth and Gideon (on seperate days). The actual written work we did on these two Bible personalities was very short, so I put them both on one page. The quotes are from the manual.

I saw something like this in another Seminary teacher’s classroom. She had a poster on the back wall of her classroom to help the class president stay on track when conducting class. I gave my class president and class vice president an agenda, but neither would use it. I hope that this will help our class to stay on track a little better during opening exercises.

Heather J shared these great Primary Wristband Reminders in Spanish. The wristbands remind children if they have an opening prayer, closing prayer, speech, or scripture. Thank you! Heather j había compartido estos recordatorios de pulsera gran primaria en español. Las pulseras recuerdan a los niños si tienen una oración, oración, discurso o las Escrituras. ¡Gracias!

Today we began the study of Helaman, chapter 1-6. I intend to cover these chapters over the next two days. And when I begin a new book within The Book of Mormon (Alma, Helaman, Words of Mormon, etc.), I like to give an overview so that the students have a global understanding of what we’re about to microscopically look at. For the overview, I print up summaries of each (or…

I made these for our primaries in our stake, I hope they might be helpful to other wards too.
