At the beginning of the school year, it is good to give your students an overview of storyline of the Old Testament. This is to help them see the big picture and where they are at any particular point in the year. Attached is a graphic that symbolizes all the biggest events. Recently I had sent Scripture Mastery mnemonics to help your students learn the key words to references. I discovered that I made a couple mistakes by accidently using some of the old key words, instead of the updated ones for 2015. So I have made the changes. This way, the key words align with the new SM Bookmarks and the SM Cards. This graphic can be used in a few ways. It can be used for helping your class learn the Old Testament books in order. Try using the song on page 114 of the Children’s Songbook to help with that. It also can be used to show the class how the Old Testament books are grouped and how they are not in chronological order.
