Downloaded from: http://ohwhatdoyoudoforsingingtime.blogspot.com/2013/08/prayer.html August Week 1: The scriptures teach me how to pray. The song for this month is “A Child’s Prayer”. Most of your primary children should be familiar with this song…you may just need to review it. The Friend magazine provides an activity that lends itself well to this week’s theme. See here. Downloaded from: http://seminaryatsixam.blogspot.com/2013/07/it-is-all-in-approach.html As I have been preparing to teach The Book of Mormon curriculum for early morning Seminary, I set a goal to read the entire Book of Mormon over the summer. At first, I took an academic approach, reading and taking notes much like I would in any class setting. This is a universal Book of Mormon scripture mastery poster for use in your Seminary classroom. This poster is different than what I’ve done before in that I am going by scripture mastery passage instead of student. Each scripture reference is represented by the text of the passage written on the “sealed” portion of a set of plates. Students will write their name on the blank area of a set…

Downloaded from: http://seminaryatsixam.blogspot.com/2013/07/class-journals.html A few weeks ago, I asked for ideas on how to use journals in Seminary Class. I feel strongly about having journals as part of our daily class. I continue to ponder the right format to use for my upcoming year. Shannon, at The Redheaded Hostess gave some fabulous suggestions on how to use Classroom Journals. Click HERE for her wonderful insight.I love the link she gives…

This year I am putting all the Book of Mormon Scripture Mastery license plates on one post so none of you get confused. This is the all-on-one-sheet version in color and black and white. These are the new 2013 scripture mastery passages. As of this posting, I don’t have the images broken out individually. That takes a little time, and I won’t do it if you don’t need them individually. …

These Book of Mormon Classroom sized flashcards are formatted to print front to back on 8.5 x 11 inch paper. These have the updated scripture mastery passages for 2013. If your printer won’t print front to back, print the odd pages, feed the paper back in, and then print the even pages. I…
