Need help in what to do with the Primary children coming to sharing time after their lesson. The 10 minute break has some children running the cultural hall. Any suggestions

I think that Primary teachers are supposed to be supervising the children during the break. Are teachers just turning their children loose?

I’d love to hear what other units are doing during the break, too. Great question!

We have our kids pass off their articles of faith during this time with a couple members of the Primary Presidency and their teachers. For the young ones it’s also time for a potty break.

We have a member or two of the Presidency stand in the hall. The Senior Primary kids go to the bathroom and get a drink and then they line up against a wall outside of the Primary room. They all know what to expect and where to go and are fairly reverent. When Junior Primary is over they go out one door and Senior goes in the other. Junior Primary teachers then take their kids to the restroom & get a drink & then head to their class.
