Mutual Theme

The Mutual Theme is selected each year by the Young Women and Aaronic Priesthood general presidencies.  It is suggested by those leaders that you use the mutual theme as a topic youth sacrament meeting talks.  Mutual themes are a focus for youth activities at camps, youth conferences, and devotionals that year.

The Young Men and Young Women general presidencies hope the theme will enrich Mutual opening exercises. It may also be used to guide youth in preparing for and participating in Christlike service in their homes, the temple, the Church, and the community.

Several resources for introducing the theme, such as video and music, will be available to local youth leaders by the end of the year before the following theme.

Additional materials supporting the theme will be made available in Church magazines, LDS.org, and on this website throughout the year. Next year’s theme is usually announced in September.
