Downloaded from: http://primarynotes29.blogspot.com/2013/11/thanksgiving-fill-in-blanks.html image sourceChange the words and have the kids fill in the blanks using the songs “Here We are Together” or “For Health and Strength”. Just write the words on the board and fit them into the songs. Or don’t write them down at all. Easy peasy. —————————————– HERE WE ARE TOGETHER –We’re thankful for your blessings, our blessings, our blessings. We’re thankful for our blessings this Thanksgiving…

Downloaded from: http://primarynotes29.blogspot.com/2013/11/article-of-faith-numberpicture-posters.html HERE is the link to the visual aides for the Article of Faith songs – the ones that have church pictures that sort of somehow go with the number. I found these on the LDS Primary Chorister’s Facebook Group, but I can’t always re-find stuff on that site – I really like these, so I’m bookmarking it here on my blog so I can find it later… *If…

Downloaded from: http://primarynotes29.blogspot.com/2013/11/musical-feast.html image sourcePut the names of songs on the back of pictures of things you’d have for Thanksgiving dinner. Can be done 2D with pictures or with 3D actual objects (found around the house, or make your own!). Have the items in a basket. One at a time choose a child to pick an item to put on the Thanksgiving Feast. Add item to the feast, sing, repeat.

Downloaded from: http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/PattiesPrimaryPlace/~3/KqzEAiBIh1w/november-primary-singing-time-ideas.html My favorite Thanksgiving Song is “I Know Heavenly Father Loves Me” the older version. A group of my friend sang it at my baptism when I was an 18 year old new convert. I love this song in 4 part harmony the best, but it’s words make it very special to sing at Thanksgiving time….It is the one that goes like this…. I KNOW HEAVENLY FATHER LOVES…

Downloaded from: http://ocdprimarychorister.blogspot.com/2013/11/song-nativity-song.html For this song, I’ve created two documents. The first includes all of the pictures shown below, with the capitalized rhyming words. To teach the song, you could post the first half of each rhyme on the board and scatter the second half of the rhymes around the room. As you teach the song, let the children find the matches. To review, you might play a matching game. Shuffle…

Downloaded from: http://aprimarysingingtime.blogspot.com/2013/11/testimony-meeting.html Last week I was able to do something I’ve wanted to do for AGES – invite the children to share their testimonies! I had heard of some music time leaders doing this as part of their singing time, but it never fit in for me. Now that roles have switched and I was in charge of Sharing Time – especially on a week when the topic was…

Downloaded from: http://ocdprimarychorister.blogspot.com/2013/10/song-samuel-tells-of-baby-jesus_30.html I love this Christmas song! I think I will either save these images to my iPad and use it as a flip chart or connect it to a larger screen as we learn this song. Said Samuel, “Within five years, a night will be as day,”“And Baby Jesus will be born in a land far, far away.”Hosanna! Hosanna! Oh, let us gladly sing. How blessed that our Lord…
