Downloaded from: http://www.continuallycreative.com/2013/02/2013-lds-youth-activities/ We have been brainstorming various activities we could do during the week to follow the 2013 “Come Follow Me” Curriculum to reinforce Sunday lessons. She glued it to a piece of yellow construction paper and gave it to us at the end of the lesson. I tacked it to my bedroom wall, and on…

This table lists the Personal Progress Value experiences and projects that correlate with the monthly “Come Follow Me” lessons for 2013. Using this will make it easier for young women to complete personal progress experiences that relate to subjects already being discussed in Sunday School and Young Women’s lessons.

I’ve created these over the years for lessons I’ve taught drawing from the quotes, scriptures and stories shared in the manuals. A few are from mutual activities (the one about kids was for an evening we put on for the Jr. Primary Children to teach the YW about caring for kids). Enjoy!

The new lesson curriculum, Come Follow Me, will require more thoughtful preparation by teachers, but I think it will result in stronger testimonies in our youth. Teachers will become less like lecturers, and more like guides, helping students gain testimony of gospel truths through discovery. Youth will learn…
