I LOVE Elder Hunter’s quote (#3 in enrichment activities) and couldn’t help but think of these paper dolls from the Friend! And how you can use them to help the kids to understand that all children around the world are the same, Heavenly Father loves them and wants them to learn about the Gospel, He hears their prayers.

Cornelius was a Roman centurion. He was a devout, God-fearing man. An angel appeared to him and told him to go get the apostle Peter. Peter had a vision that had the meaning that it was time that the gospel be taught the gospel without having first to convert to Judaism. At this time, the gospel was only being taught to the Jews, this was the first time that the gospel will be taught to the Gentiles.
(Peter was the head of the Church at this time, he held all the keys for the Church)
During this time, Cornelius had fasted and prayed for 4 days to know God’s will. The angel promised him that Peter held the answers.
Heavenly Father is teaching us that He “is no respecter of persons” (Acts 10:34) Every person can have the opportunity to hear the gospel. Peter taught and testified of Christ’s life and mission. The Holy Ghost testified to
Cornelius that what Peter was teaching was true. Cornelius was baptized. This became a huge step in the Church beginning to teach ALL people.
