Downloaded from: http://ocdprimarychorister.blogspot.com/2013/06/follow-prophet-in-asl.html Because the song “Follow the Prophet” has so many verses, I wanted to teach the children the sign language for the chorus. I thought it might help keep their attention. I love this YouTube video because the presenter gives two options, one for nursery/junior primary and one for older primary members. Another resource for teaching Primary songs in ASL is found on the church’s website, here.To help…

Downloaded from: http://primarynotes29.blogspot.com/2013/06/invite-military-member.html image sourceLast night my husband had an idea so simple I thought, “duh! Why didn’t I think about that?” We live near a Military Base, so it would be awesome to invite a Military Member to dress in uniform and speak to the kids for Independance Day. It would be equally as awesome to have them sing.

Downloaded from: http://ldsywideasandactivities.blogspot.com/2013/06/fathers-day-pie-day.html We recently we had our 2nd annual Pies for Fathers Day – just like last year, it was a big success, and I think we will continue this tradition for a while! Instead of passing out a candy bar or something like that at the end of Sacrament meeting, our ward does something a little different. On the Saturday before Fathers Day, each of the classes met…
