Serve others for a total of 40 hours. Where possible, some of these hours should include mentoring another young woman with her Personal Progress. This should be done under the direction of the ward or branch Young Women presidency.     A…

Have I mentioned how much I love Come, Follow Me? I love how simple and direct it is in teaching the doctrines and principles of the Gospel. Have I mentioned how much I love that Personal Progress does the same thing? And best of all, both are design…

I have a confession: I’m addicted to sticky notes. I use them all the time and for all sorts of things. Whenever I need to remember something, I always turn to my collection of sticky notes. And so as I was going through Personal Progress again, I rea…

I’ve had several requests for some simple resources for Young Women, such as a tracking sheet for Personal Progress, so I threw this simple sheet together. Hopefully the simplicity and bright colors can aid in motivating Young Women to refocus on Pers…

Every year I like to challenge myself to read the Book of Mormon, and something about charts motivates me to stick to my goal. I especially appreciate charts with some level of creativity, so I decided to throw one together. The whole idea is to embar…

 Personal Progress Jars
My Personal Progress Experience cards

Ribbon and/or Fabric (to decorate the jar)

First, you will need to print out my ‘Personal Progress Experience Cards’. Most of the cards I have included are experiences that can be completed in one day. There are 23 cards total (6 pages)!

I also included a page of blank cards that you could use for girls that have completed a majority of their experiences. Just have the girls write the experiences that they need to complete on each of the cards.

Once you have printed the cards you will need to cut them out.

Next, I rolled each card up and then tied with curly ribbon.

After each experience card was rolled and tied I placed them in the jar along with some yummy treats.

You can leave your jar like that OR you can cut pieces of fabric to place on the lid of each jar.

I also tied a piece of ribbon around the jar and placed a ‘Personal Progress Jar’ tag on the front.
to create your very own Personal Progress Jar!
Have the girls place the jar by their beds or on a dresser. If they have some free time they can pick an experience out of the jar and complete it…and they can enjoy a yummy little treat from the jar as well. :)
I hope you enjoy my Personal Progress Jar as well as the YW in your ward.
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

The start of the new year is a time for new beginnings. Most of us take a moment to step back and think about what we want to become during the year. I can think of no better tool in the world to help young women set goals to become better than Person…

I’ve been in a super planning mood, and as a result I’ve come up with a handful of resources for Class Presidencies to use. The first is a presidency meeting agenda template, and the second is an activity planning worksheet. Both are designed to help …

I’ve been getting super excited in planning for the new year. I’m a huge organizer and planner by nature, so I’ve been hard at work preparing a calendar (and other goodies) for next year. It’s pretty simple, but that’s what works best for me. My crite…
