Young Women Motto and Theme
According to the Also associated with the Young Women program are a motto and logo. These can be used in lessons and at activities as reminders to the young women to live the gospel standards. (Source: LDS.org - YW Theme and Logo)
Young Women's Motto
The Young Women's Motto is "Stand for Truth and Righteousness".
These are scriptures that have the three words "stand, truth, righteousness" in them: Ephesians 6:14 (13-18) and Doctrine and Covenants 27:16 (15-18).
Young Women's Theme
The Young Women's theme is:
We are daughters of our Heavenly Father, who loves us, and we love Him.
We will "stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things,
and in all places" (Mosiah 18:9) as we strive to live
the Young Women values, which are:
Faith
Divine Nature
Individual Worth
Knowledge
Choice and Accountability
Good Works, and
Integrity.
We believe as we come to accept and act upon these values,
we will be prepared to strengthen home and family, make and keep sacred covenants,
receive the ordinances of the temple, and enjoy the blessings of exaltation.
The Young Women's General Presidency has given some guidelines for repeating the theme.
I have made some clipart relating the YW Theme.
Young Women's Logo
The Young Women logo is a torch surrounded by the Young Women motto. The torch represents the light of Christ, inviting all to "come unto Christ" (Moroni 10:32). It invites all young women to hold up the light of Christ by keeping His commandments. (Source: LDS.org - YW Theme and Logo)
I have made some clipart of the YW logo (that I hope isn't violating Church copyright).
