I used this To Do List with the idea from the Seminary Lesson manual when teaching about the doers of the word.  After reading James 1:22-25, students were given several minutes to look over James 1-5 and to write down ways they can be doers of the word.

Video with Clothing Instructions for Trek

The Ashburn Virginia Stake made a great video with ideas on how to make or alter clothing when preparing for Trek. The video includes instructions on fabric types that are safe around fire, skirt lengths, and how to make a man's shirt for trek. It also has information on what to read to prepare for trek.

Aaronic Priesthood Restoration Commemoration Celebration ideas

This year the Aaronic Priesthood restoration date (May 15, 1829) is on a weekday, and I have been planning to have a little commemoration party during Seminary. After the results of the basic doctrines survey, I may instead do an activity on the essential nature of temple covenants.  Or I may do both.   We'll just see...

Brigham Bucks

Brigham Bucks is the Seminary incentive program used by Seminary Mom, but you can use them for Seminary, Primary reverence incentives, youth activities, and much more.  Last year I used tickets for our March Madness auction, but this year I am using these bucks because tickets are just too expensive for my class of 16.  I'm hoping to laminate and reuse these Brigham Bucks next year.
