2016 Mutual Theme Crafts for New Beginnings and Girls Camp

I’m not the most creative person, so when I learned that this arrow charm with eternity circle made craft-making so easy, I had to try it myself.  Are these bracelets awesome or what?  I think they are perfect for the 2016 mutual theme.  It takes only about five minutes to make each bracelet, and the tools and findings can be found at any hardware or craft store.  In fact, my…

Downloaded from: http://ldsywideasandactivities.blogspot.com/2013/08/abide-by-guide-for-strength-of-youth.html This last week we had a lesson about dating for the young women. We focused a lot on how the For the Strength of Youth guidebook can guide us to date (and eventually marry) in the way the Lord wants us to. I saw this printable (left) on the Little Miss Suzy Q site and thought it was very catchy…Decide to Abide by the Guide! (the original…

Personal Progress Values Classroom Banners – temple style

Our personal progress classroom temple banners fit on four pages or less. I created them to be used at New beginnings or when you are focusing on a particular value during the month; however, you’ll find lots of uses for them at camp and other activities, I’m sure. Simply print out the pages, align the overlap, and tape for a beautiful classroom poster! Enjoy! Sample image:

This magnet idea was submitted several months ago, but it got lost in my inbox somehow…. It was submitted by Janine B who says, “I thought it would be a good idea to have the girls pick their value projects and write them somewhere where their parents would see them too. I printed these fridge magnets thinking that if their goals were on their refrigerators they would also be on…

American Idol Standards Night Script

Jechelle S. shared this script she wrote that uses the American Idol format to teach Standards from For the Strength of Youth. The script calls for 10 youth contestants who each teach about a different standard through their speeches. There are also the 3 adult judges and an announcer, and there’s a place at the end for a Stake President or Bishop to speak. The contestants are: Ace “I’m Too”…

Young Women – universal 1/2 sheet card

This card template was made using my LDS Digital Scrapbooking elements. This makes two cards per 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of paper. It has a ribbon with the flower elements and the word “Young Women” in the bottom right quadrant in “Scriptina” font. There is plenty of space on this card to type in the title of your event, and it’s generic enough to use for birthday cards, invitations,…
