These are some leadership tips our Young Women's President gave us during our last Board meeting:
Seven Keys to Success as a Leader:
1. Be Dedicated
2. Be Enthusiastic
3. Be Dependable
4. Be Positive
5. Be Honest and Fair
6. Be Kind, Helpful, and Loyal
7. Be a Fun-maker
Here are some notes I jotted down about each:
1. Be Dedicated - all leaders attend all meetings
2. Be Enthusiastic - nothing makes things happens as fast or as well as enthusiasm
3. Be Dependable - follow through, be consistent
4. Be Positive - negativity breeds failure
5. Be Honest and Fair - others will trust and follow you
6. Be Kind, Helpful, and Loyal - when you help another climb, you get there yourself
7. Be a Fun-maker - when you enjoy your work, you do a better job
