Matching Swimsuits for Matching girls
"I found these matching swimsuits, almost more leotards than swimsuit.They were so cute we had to do a photo shoot with the twins.two darling girlsThey actually rolled and around and smiled and cooed. All while its in the middle of winter.the size on these suits are 12 months- yet they fit my almost 6 months old right now.I guess I'm going to need to purchase a new swimsuit for actual swim season.I doubt these suits will still fit come May."

Sacrament Lesson
"Tonight for Activity Days we are doing something super simple yet really important. We are going to work on the requirement under Learning and Living the Gospel about the sacrament. My lovely assistant will be teaching a short lesson on the sacrament and the covenants we make/renew. Then the girls will be coloring and decorating this card, which is 4x6.We are going to put some ribbon at the top so they can use it as a scripture/bookmarker. Budget and some NO COST Activities!
"Just saying the word budget kind of makes ya cringe huh?! Working with a budget in Activity days is tricky sometimes. I have received some emails asking about our budget. I will share with you my wards budget and I hope this doesn't create any hurt feelings. In my ward we have 2 groups totaling 16 girls. We get 45 cents per girl per activity for our budget. We also have been told not to use our own money! That is the hardest part for me. Getting Organized
"I've been all about organizing. It all started with putting the Christmas stuff away and trying to get it to fit and be organized. I then started organizing some things in my closet. From there I wanted to organize my cupboards. I have been frustrated with our cupboards. thave ey are narrow width, narrow depth, and very tall with only three shelves. I end up with a TON of unused space. Christmas Day 2011
"MERRY CHRISTMAS, even if it is late.Christmas morning we went to church at 8:30am. Then we came home and opened a few presents.We took a break while my brothers' went to their ward. The girls were so adorable in their plaid taffeta Christmas dresses.Happy birthday Uncle Rex. As the norm we had a birthday/ holiday gathering for Rex and for Grandmother Dorothy. My parents had a full house. Lots of family and many more friends. Rex is such a popular kid and every year his Christmas Night Birthday party is very well attended.Merry Christmas"

The trouble with only singing program songs.....is that you don't know any songs.
"Today I was going through my files looking through old things and organizing visual aids. I didn't realize how much I had, but after 4 years it kind of makes sense. I found a list of songs from 2008 when I was first put in. There were about 15 songs on it that the kids in primary knew. Mostly they were program songs, but there was also the snowman song, a birthday song and Hello! They really didn't know any songs! They had had four leaders over the previous year who spent the whole 15-20 minutes every Sunday only teaching and reviewing program songs....

Song Review - "As a Child of God"
"For old times sake, I thought I would share with you all what I did to review “As a Child of God.” I put the phrase pictures up on the board and asked a child to leave the room. I asked another child to choose one of the pictures to remove. We shuffled the remaining pictures around a bit to make it harder to spot, but if the guessing child is young, you may want to leave the pictures as they were. When the child came back into the room, we sang the song again to help them discover which picture was missing. Naturally, I asked the child to give the answer in the exact words of the song...

Framed it
"When we were married my husband told me we wanted this map from his Grandpa in IA.Its not as old as it looks. Its circa 1967.In Feb 2009 we brought it home from IA with us.In September I took it to a framing place and had it framed.I wanted a frame that made the whole thing look older. Sharing Time 2012-January Week 5 idea-The Plan of Salvation

In an area training last year, Sister Jean Stevens counseled primary leaders in that region to focus on the plan of salvation. Cheryl’s ward did a 5th Sunday about the plan of salvation and put these large visual aids on the wall in their primary room, and now refer to them during most other sharing time lessons. They based their lesson on a simplified version the Plan of Salvation lesson from Preach my Gospel (leaving out references to paradise/spirit prison and judgment). My sister recently taught a similar lesson in her ward."

#3 We are talking about the
We are talking about the gospel being spread throughoout the world. During sharing time, I ate M&M's in front of the kids and apologized, telling them that I hadn't eaten breakfast. Obviously towards the end (less time in JR) I drew the analogy of how important it is to share the gospel with our friends. I had little bags from hobby lobbly filled with 5 M&Ms.
