Scripture Bee

Give the students 2 minutes to memorize as much as possible. They all stand.

The first person recites the scripture until they miss a word (or can’t remember any more). That person then sits down, looks at the word they missed and tells it to the class.

The next person tries to say more than the first person. And so on.

People sitting down can help the person reciting, if they get hung up on a particular word – the catch being that a person sitting can only shout out the particular word that they missed (and had to sit down on).

The class works together to have a student be able to recite the entire passage before they must all sit.
